A HANDFUL OF FACTS ABOUT ME

• I was born with Orange and blue running through my veins (even my grandfather was a UF grad.)

• I am one of the luckiest people alive in my opinion to have been a senior as my beloved school won it’s 3rd national championship in 12 months

• If you haven’t noticed I am a HUGE Gator fan, for everything (even my wedding was orange and blue)

• My greatest love is for Christ Jesus because he loves me even though I continue to disappoint him daily (Grace is amazing)

• My next love is my family–>they have my priority

• Especially my husband

• I am an obsessive dog lover to the point of convincing my poor husband to get a dog barely 3 weeks into our marriage–Snoopy, a 5 year-old pointer/lab mix!

• I love my country. Period.

• Loving my country means being a patriot even when I don’t agree with everything my government is doing (and recognizing that they have the right to keep some of the details quiet for security reasons, trust me, it happens in every country, it’s not a conspiracy)

• I am a political science major, which means I sit around watching the news and reading different newspapers so that I don’t have a one sided report (which ALL news broadcasters do, not just Fox which does relay the Conservative side…CNN does it for the Liberal side)

• I like to call myself tenacious because it sounds better than rebel or opinionated or many other adjectives that have been used to describe me throughout my years

• I enjoy being young and hope that it doesn’t pass to quickly

• I love to travel and haven’t gone nearly enough places (I’ll be using all of my savings to go around the world in years to come)

• My favorite place I’ve gone to is Maui with my mom (just the 2 of us)–other favorite is Costa Rica (amazing country!)

• I love my mom, she is my hero (and my inspiration)

• She gets worried about me because I’m so much like her (I just take it as the greatest complement I’ve ever received)

• I can’t spell…if you notice something on my blog that’s not right, don’t worry, that’s why I avidly support spell check

• my favorite color is green, always has been, probably always will be

• my favorite foods are pasta and cheese

• my favorite drink is Sweet Tea

• and yes I am Southern (born and raised and proud of it)

• I do pray and I actively support legislation that allows us freedom OF religion NEVER freedom FROM religion which is what is happening in our society as kids are no longer allowed to sing Christmas carols or even display a Christmas tree on school grounds (a bunch of nonsense in my opinion)

• I will give my opinion (whether people like it or not) but I do respect others opinions as well, I am just not going to change mine
